Starting in the colonial days, the US has been a test tube of capitalist thought. This episode tells the story of the US economy, starting in the Colonial period and goes through the US Revolution. The episode also talks about the Wealth of Nations, the seminal text of capitalist thought which was published the same year as the US Declaration of Independence in 1776.
