As someone who moved from Upstate NY to Colorado, Erik gives some comparisons and contrasts  between Adirondack and Rocky Mountain hiking.  Erik touches on both the more adventurous backpacking peak bagging and route finding and also gives some recommendations for the more casual day hiker.
