The parents of a Colorado teen, Dakryn Rhymes Jr., have not seen their son since February 6, 2026. The family went about their day as normal until Friday evening when Dakryn did not return home from school. It was immediately noticeable when they returned home in the afternoon and Dakryn was not there and by 9:00 p.m., their concerns were shared with law enforcement and a missing persons report was filed by the Denver Police Department. Dakryn was last seen leaving school near E 27th Avenue and Columbine Street in Denver and there are no verified sightings of him after that. Typically Dakryn takes public transportation home from school, a trip that takes roughly 14 minutes. There is no indication yet that Dakryn made it to the bus Friday afternoon. Family of Dakryn continues to share flyers and look for him throughout the city.
