Today is the first episode of a two part series where we travel with a group of friends along the Colorado River and follow some great roads through California, Arizona and Nevada.  Today's route will head east from the O.C., highlight a great lunch at the best little deli in the area and follow the Colorado River to Lake Havasu.

Also in today’s Episode Wayne and Cowboy will join me to talk over a little history from our route including; Where the white lines on the highways came from; who convinced Washington that the California desert was actually a swamp and how much Havasu had to pay the City of London to lease the land for the visitors center.

In the end I’ll join you back here with some Notes from the road and give a few thoughts about our riding family when you live life on two wheels and a road.
