Let’s take a moment to fully process our emotions when it comes to things we can’t change in life. It’s okay to feel things as long as you keep moving and don’t let it keep you down. Learn to be more lenient when it comes to your path in life. Be patient with yourself. Encourage yourself/those around you and watch those who do not return that support. If you want something in life then go get it!

Let’s address the difference when it comes to interpersonal ties between two individuals. Be able to identify when the relationship you have with someone is worth fighting for or simply draining you. Take steps on your self-love journey to be comfortable in your solitude and acknowledge the changes you need to make for yourself. Love yourself before you love anyone else. As givers we need to know our limits.

On June 19th in 1865, the last four enslaved individuals in Texas were informed that they were free. This should be a nationally recognized holiday. In this episode I touch on the racist history of America and issues we face as Black Professionals. Please be informed , share information with each other and do your research. Support each other /black businesses. Pay people what they’re worth. I was rambling a bit you can definitely tell when the moments I get frustrated but thank you to everyone who has been supporting me i love you

This episode was recorded after Selena and I attended the Black Lives Matter march in Cleveland after the murder of George Floyd. Please don’t let these names die. Please speak out for what you believe in , contribute to the cause. Hold people accountable . Work together , let’s be the change we want to see in the world! I tried to keep this conversation as raw and organic as possible so i apologize if I’m rambling ! Love one another ❤️ Teach our kids compassion. (I don’t support the riots and looting but we needed MLK and Malcolm X to get where we are today -BALANCE- sometimes it’s about peace sometimes we have to do things by any means necessary but the fight continues! )

Be better than who you were yesterday. Take control of your life. Let situations play out . Communication and comprehension is important in platonic, intimate or familial relationships. Forgiveness is key to happiness! Let things go !
