In Paul's opening greeting to the Church in Colossae, he begins immediately to lay the groundwork for his message to these believers of the true nature of our salvation, our relationship with God our Father, and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are the family of God, brothers and sisters, adopted by the grace of God through Christ.
