Colossians 3:15-17 | November 16, 2025 | Pastor Josh Goertzen
This powerful message from Colossians 3:15-17 reminds us that our identity in Christ fundamentally shapes how we live. We're called to three transformative pursuits: pursuing God's peace by extending to others the same undeserved kindness God showed us; pursuing God's word by letting it dwell richly within us, not just as principles but as a means to behold the precious person of Jesus Christ; and pursuing God's glory by making Him known in everything we do. The sermon beautifully illustrates how we become what we behold—if we're captivated by Jesus through His word, we'll be transformed into His likeness. Our singing isn't just vertical worship but horizontal encouragement, carrying one another to Jesus when we're too weary to go ourselves. The call is clear: let our passion be single, living solely to magnify Jesus so others might see Him as precious to their souls.
