D&C 137–138 reveals the salvation of the dead: the faithful who die without the gospel are not lost. Christ organized the spirit world, and messengers preach repentance there so all may accept the gospel and receive God’s promised blessings.

D&C 135-136 honors Joseph and Hyrum Smith, who sealed their testimonies with their blood, and calls the Saints to move forward in faith. The Lord organizes His people, gives guidance for the journey west, and promises strength, protection, and divine care

D&C 133–134 calls Saints to prepare for Christ’s return—gather, repent, seek peace, and honor just laws. The Lord invites His people to come out of Babylon, live righteously, and be ready as a faithful Bride for the coming Bridegroom.

Teachings reveal how to discern heavenly messengers, promise blessings to the faithful, outline the eternal nature of marriage and sealing power, and explain covenants that exalt God’s children when they obey His revealed laws.

Revelation guides the Saints in establishing settlements, sustaining leaders, and preparing for temple work. The Lord emphasizes record-keeping, baptism for the dead, and acting with diligence so His purposes can be fulfilled in the latter days.

A revelation appointing a new gathering place, organizing leadership, and directing the Saints to build up Nauvoo with righteousness. God promises protection, honors the faithful, and assures that all things will work together for their good.

Revelation teaches that suffering refines the faithful, priesthood power depends on righteousness, and God will triumph over evil. The Saints are urged to record persecutions, trust divine justice, and continue their labors with hope.

The Lord names His Church, commands the building of temples, and directs the Saints to gather with faith. Leaders are called, tithing is revealed as a standing law, and God promises strength, sanctification, and refuge to His obedient people.

The Lord reassures leaders in financial uncertainty, promises hidden treasures of wisdom, calls the Saints to repent and strengthen Zion, directs the Twelve in their missions, and reminds all that God knows their faith and future labors.

A sacred house is dedicated in humility and power, seeking God’s presence, forgiveness, and blessings on the Saints. The Lord appears, accepts the temple, and ancient messengers return to bestow keys that open the last-days gathering of Israel.
