Marvel Legends is an action model line based on the identities of Marvel Comics starting up in 2002 by Toybiz and held up by Hasbro in 2006. Hasbro in 2008 resisted producing regular waves of models due to the growth in the cost of plastics.  They rose to the competition back in 2011 and the following year, Return of Marvel Legends debuted with new sculpts and articulation. Later, the line was restored into Marvel Legends Infinite Series.
