The Apostle John gives us a picture in words of what he experienced as he heard a voice like a trumpet saying, “Come up here and I will show you things that are going to happen.”
Revelation chapters four and five can only be described as glorious. Suddenly John finds himself before a throne and surrounded by worshippers. In awe his eyes are captured by a throne and the One who sat on it.
Many people have discussed what they will do first when they leave this life behind and enter glory. John explains it in this way.
He was Transported to Glory.
He was Transfixed on a Throne.
He was Transformed into a Worshipper.
Revelation 4 and 5 fill us with visions of worship and glory. The great issues of eternity are settled even as they unfold. We will be with Jesus, worshiping the Lamb.
