Ngoc Nguyen is the author of ‘Weird Culture Kids’, a memoir about growing up in and between different cultures and experiencing the world through international lenses. It navigates her experiences in Vietnam, America and France, dealing with challenges faced, discovering identity and connection and more. In our conversation, we shed light on being immersed in multi cultures, dealing with isolating periods, and some perhaps misconceptions, or issues that third culture kids face, that perhaps we aren’t aware of. We discuss the book’s writing process, it’s therapeutic nature in connecting with multiple others with shared experiences, and more.
