Surabhi Jaiswar, previously on ComebaCK, joins me today to discuss an upcoming event from CORMIS Da Nang. CORMIS Da Nang is a local NGO, busy preparing for this time of year by up-cycling materials, making some useful wearable clothing for gifting and wearing in holiday and winter. As a local NGO, they do research & run various programs aiming to improve the quality of life of the marginalized people in a sustainable way. This time they’re bringing us this event, WINTER WONDERLAND, showcasing work of local ladies from marginalized communities.

This event is jam packed with fun, entertainment and positive messages. There will be survivors of abuse, trauma, diseases, violence, illiteracy and physical disability will take the walk on the fashion runway establishing the difference between being and happening. It is an endeavor to empower the survivors and humanity.
