Ed Mashek is initially from America, currently living as an expat in Saigon, Vietnam since 2015, and joins me to discuss his stories background and journey, and how he is making his comeback.

We discuss his upbringing in foster care, experiences of torture, rape and child abuse - dealing with intense bullying, and mental health challenges, including PTSD. We also discuss his felony charge, aged 18, which has hindered Ed’s professional career since.

We discuss processing these events throughout childhood and adult life, using sport, wrestling, weightlifting exercises as a form of therapy, subsequently moving into education, how those early experiences still manifest today, and the upcoming book that Ed has to release, documenting his life to date.
