Thomas Galvez is a Californian musician, teacher and founder of ‘Other Voices VN’, bringing indie, post punk, shoegaze, New Wave, synthpop and goth to the Saigon music community.

Throughout our musical conversation, we spent a great hour reminiscing of the record and radio eras of music, especially with the aforementioned genres, and our shared experiences growing up in famous and iconic musical environments - Thomas, San Diego, California and Conor, Manchester.

We discuss Thomas’ 22 year career in living overseas and sampling different music scenes from Europe, Asia and the Middle East, the true authentic power of music, and how one song can really really….really….change your life.

We conclude by dissecting the ideal role that Other Voices VN is hoping to play in the expanding Saigon music scene.
