The 23rd Psalm is probably the best known of all the Psalms. It has been a solace to many in times of trouble and when facing problems in life. In John's Gospel Jesus is pictured as the Good Shepherd who cares for His sheep, protecting them and watching over them, He knows them by name. The Good Shepherd gave His life for the sheep.
