Grief is not a well defined road. It is different for each person.
II Cor 2 God is the God of all comfort. We must know what it feels like to be comforted by God.
* Grief is emotional suffer from loss
* Grief is shock and denial. Comforters understand that no one is ever emotionally prepared.
* Grief is a tear.
* Grief is a wave.
* Grief is love. Deep grief comes from deep love. Grief is a tribute to their loss.
* Grief is weariness. Comforters understand that grief is exhausting
* Grief is resentment.
* Grief is bewildering. There is a difference between asking why questions, and demanding God answer why questions
* Grief can become depression.
* Grief is a heart reaching out for understanding
* Grief is a journey for acceptance
* Grief is painful
* Grief is valuable
Comforters direct the grieving to the One that is still here.
