Welcome to another exciting episode of Comic Book Chronicles!
Folks have been spoiled by the richness that was X-Men ‘97 season one, and now, we are left with. But, there is at least the X-Men ‘97 prequel comic whose issue #3 came out this week! Join Agent_70 and Roddykat as they travel the landscape of this week’s newly released comic books and discuss what they’ve read of them! The Energon Universe moves along as a fan-favorite triple-changing Cybertronian is introduced in Void Rivals #9! Cobra Commander closes out his series with an alliance and grand speech about a new organization he’s trying to form in Cobra Commander #5! Blood Hunt continues its bloody path in Blood Hunt #2! The crew of the U.S.S. Defiant have to battle their way to close a door in Star Trek: Defiant #15!

Adult Swim launches the Toonami Rewind block of shows which includes Dragon Ball Z Kai and the uncensored dub of Sailor Moon! Marvel announces a Spider-Society series coming this August! Jonathan Hickman and Greg Capullo team up for Marvel’s Wolverine: Revenge mini-series! Playmates takes over the Power Rangers toy license from Hasbro! Marvel announces a Predator vs. Black Panther mini-series and an Ultraman X Avengers one! Storm Shadow will be introduced in Skybound’s Scarlett #3, this August! Happy Memorial Day from CBC and #kliqsoftheweek!
