Recently the Discovery channel has acquired Warner Brothers. And due to this there is a lot of changes. Some changes include them dropping films that are nearly done. And shows that have been on for years and are now coming to an end.

The CW is ending the flash. One of the longest superheroes shows on the market, on since October 7, 2014, it’s been holding the DC Tv universe in place. While arrow came first, even that show has already meet its end. While they still have shows such as Star Girl and Superman and Louis. the era that began it all is no longer playing.

As far as the movies. They have gone done a weird one. they canceled the batgirl movie. A movie in the sages of being completed. due to a redirection of the company strategic vision, it is believed they will make a better financial return on a film by writing it off as a loss instead of releasing it. Just like in the producers. 

There was a time we had to wait years for a single 2-hour superhero epic movie. And the superheroes on tv were drugstore. And part of the action-packed hour on a Sunday afternoon. But now we are over saturated with shows and movies that they can cut out the fat and be ok. Cause the nerds still have other teats to drink from.
