As we begin this Lent season,We begin a new conversation series. Over a couple of weeks we will look keenly and contemplatively on some moments in the life of Jesus and with open hearts see how Jesus invites us closer to who he is, also how God imagines us and what our full identity in Him looks like.

On this week we explore the place of family in our world coming alive.

What is the one thing that the Church must do?

Perhaps, one of the greatest tasks of the church in our era will be to nurture community and belonging. Every age has its challenge and this is the challenge of our time.

Today in our Aliveness together series we will look at being alive together for the sake of the world!

Let us hold this question in mind, what does it mean to be a christian?

What marks a christian most definitively?

Today we are looking let’s look at aliveness together in giving.One of our core values here is stewarding generously:

We diligently and creatively nurture and care for all that has been lovingly entrusted to us. God’s love is generous and abundant and from God all things flow.

As a community stewarding generously, we are responsible, nurturing, thoughtful and caring. We are resourceful, creative and generative. We are diligent and excellent. We are giving. When we do so we are better placed to create more goodness, beauty and truth in our world through our lives and ministry. Love cultivates and gives!

Prayer is communing with God. Prayer is being in communion with God. Prayer is responding to a God who is always with us!

And if God is always with us and we respond to him, then that is praying.

We want this to be a year of growing together and leaning into the fulness of life that God imagines for us this year together.
God is always drawing us closer to Himself and as a result we experience greater and greater wholeness and healing.

This time of the year our hearts and minds tend to be more attuned to new dreams and visions of what we want to see happen in our lives and in the world around us.

Join us as we gather to reflect what has been 2023 and charge on in hope and joy for 2024.

In this season of the Christmas, we continue to reflect on our postures of our hearts as Christ comes. The baby on a manger changed humanity and that also happens to us now.

One reality of our humanity is that we are imperfect beings. We tend to do that which is destructive to one another. How do we come to terms with our humanity? How does joy present itself among imperfect and broken humans?
