Probably at one time or another you have seen people come unglued. They lost it for one reason or another and they didn’t act like they normally would. You may have come unglued yourself at one point of your life. Then there is the act of something coming unglued. Like when you had a plan and it was coming unraveled and not working out. Maybe it was relational or financial and it started going south. Maybe there was a plan to cover or conceal something that you didn’t want anyone to know about. Things got out, someone talked, someone saw something and the plan was coming unglued.

King David was in a place, at a time when he should have been doing something else. He got into a mess with a woman. When it started coming unglued, he worked desperately to conceal it, but it didn’t work. He thought he could work it out on his own, with his own power, but he couldn’t. He was confronted with it and exposed. Scripture reveals what we need to do even before things start coming unglued.
