In this Veteran's Interview, we meet retired United States Navy Commander Bill Kirkpatrick who served as a Naval Aviator and was a fighter pilot who earned the call sign “Bullet.”  Bill and Joe discuss how this real world Top Gun School graduate not only applied lessons learned from the course when dealing with belligerent enemy engagements but also they talk of his exploits as an extra in the original film Top Gun.
