We just released our latest Commanders Briefing Podcast episode on all Podcast platforms. In this episode we sit down with the Commanding General of the Texas State Guard Commanding General Major General Anthony Woods. The episode was recoded in November 2022, since then The General was promoted from Brigadier to Major General. During the interview we discuss the current missions the Texas State Guard, their integration into The Texas Military Forces and how vital they've become as an organization. We also discuss their Active Duty missions in which they have 400 continuously serving soldiers. It was an amazing interview shedding a lot of light on one of the nations top State Defense Forces.

In this episode we discuss the latest missions of the California State Guard, focusing particularly on their Wild-land firefighting missions. We then dive into the Florida State Guard and their classification as a Civilian Force, we cover the differences of being classified as a military force instead of a civilian force.
