Commanders Fall 37-20 To Bucs, Jayden Daniels NFL Debut Thoughts, Dan Quinn Comments, Postgame Recap
The Washington Commanders lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 37-20 at Raymond James Stadium. Jayden Daniels made his NFL debut, going 17/24 for 184 yards passing, and adding 16 rushes for 88 yards and 2 TDs. What did you make of the rookie QB's debut? Elsewhere, Brian Robinson Jr. had a strong performance, and Austin Ekeler looks like his old self after playing last year injured.
The defense was atrocious, giving up 37 points to Baker Mayfield and the Bucs. Mayfield went 24/30 for 289 yards and 4 TDs, while only getting sacked once despite numerous pressures. Will this defense improve? Or is it going to look like last season's defense once again?
Cade York missed his 2 field goal attempts as well. Will the Commanders make a move at kicker?
