The State of our Union is…. Well, Biden had his say, the Republicans rebutted and a spectacle was put on. But did it tell you anything you didn’t know? Did it solve anything, change minds, hearts? Or was it just a made-for-tv spectacle basically being used for a campaign? And what is the state of our union according to…YOU ? How would you give the address?

If I get called a Boomer one more time like it’s an insult I’m gonna smack the crap out of someone. How did we get here where an entire generation feels nothing about berating or belittling those who are older than they? And why do “Boomers” take it? It’s time to stand up to these smug children and let them know aging isn’t for the weak, and we are strong enough to put these little bastards in their place.

And why do you watch certain stars or TV shows when you know you shouldn’t because you know they go against your moral beliefs? Shows like NCIS or Blue Bloods, clearly right wing, transphobic, homophobic, but we watch. Why? There’s now choices and yet so many of us still choose the shows with themes or people we wouldn’t like in real life.
