The Box Elder County Commission approved a partial fee waiver last week for the Miss Wilderness Circuit Rodeo Pageant at the county fairgrounds in Tremonton. Commissioners voted Aug. 27 to reduce rental costs by about 0 after pageant director Tammy Berry said rising expenses and fundraising challenges had left organizers short. She noted the nonprofit invests its proceeds back into the program and contributes labor at the fairgrounds to help offset costs.
