In His covenant commitment with His people, God asks His people to value the gift of life He has given them. While we think the commandment to not murder on another is an easy one for us to fall in line with, a deeper look reveals that perhaps we do not value life in the way that God values our life. When we find value in every single life as God does, it changes how we live with every one in our lives.
