Ruchi Agarwal-Rangnath works as a teacher educator, consultant, and is vice president and a co-founder of the California chapter of NAME (CA-NAME). She published the books Social Studies, Literacy, and Social Justice in the Common Core Classroom A Guide for Teachers and Preparing to Teach for Social Justice: Becoming a Renegade. Sarah Cooper teaches eighth-grade U.S. history and is dean of studies at Flintridge Preparatory School, a 7-12 independent school near Los Angeles. She has written a book about teaching middle school history, Making History Mine: Meaningful Connections for Grades 5-9 and also writes frequently for MiddleWeb's Future of History blog. Michael Fisher is a former teacher who is now a full-time author and instructional coach. His latest book is Hacking the Common Core.
