Mary and Joseph were a common, ordinary couple, who had a baby in a small town called Bethlehem. From a human perspective, Jesus' birth was inconsequential and unremarkable. But God often chooses ordinary people, just like you and me, in ordinary places, just like where we live, to accomplish extraordinary work.
