Grab a cup of coffee and dive into the fascinating world of Giorgia Valenti, an award-winning Italian actress and producer based in NYC and Italy. As the Co-artistic Director of Et Alia Theater, she takes us behind the scenes of running an all-female collective that champions multicultural, women-centered storytelling in the performing arts. The company brings together an unfamiliar combination of foreign and immigrant voices and offers them a space to explore and interchange their multicultural perspectives. As a company that is committed to blurring borders, Et Alia is not limited to a single form of work and is open to creating conversations through different styles of theater, striving to make the out-of-place, a place.
