In this video, the sixth meditation on caring for and responding to anger, we learn that while vitally important it is not enough to just be aware of the anger. Discovering your unfulfilled need that made you angry is also crucial to healing, but this too is not the end of the process.

We now need to share our unfulfilled needs with the person or persons who may have triggered our anger to begin with. If it is a loved one who is open to communicate, we can begin the road to healing with them. But it may often be someone who is not open to discussing it with us. Maybe it's a boss, or a coworker and you recognize that, no, I can't communicate with them. The recognition of knowing this is the only way to move into the act of containment of your anger. The all important containment phase is how we can discover that anger can sometimes work for us and not against us.
