Dr. Sara Shaban is an assistant professor of journalism at Seattle Pacific University, a CCCU (coalition of Christian colleges and universities) school just miles northwest of downtown Seattle. Prior to receiving her PhD, Shaban was a freelance journalist in the Middle East.
