Information is a powerful tool when communicated accurately, timely and appropriately. For safety managers and other leaders, conveying information while giving direction and providing empathy can be a challenge. 

This episode examines three elements of MLT - Motivating Language Theory (Sullivan, 1988) and suggests how leadership can have a direct and positive affect on employees in emergency and safety situations.
