There are 4 Types of Communication:

  1. Verbal – Verbal communication skills are ranked first among a job candidate “must have” skills and qualities according to a survey by the National Assoc of Colleges and Employees.
  2. Written
  3. Non-verbal
  4. Emotional
  5. What all goes in to effective communication?

    1. Our ability to push the pause button and be mindful of ourselves and others.
    2. Being aware of our own nonverbal communication
    3. Understanding what engaged and active listening entails.
    4. The capacity to communicate with self-confidence and humility.
    5. The ability to identify and understand one’s own and others emotions.

      Start with the Basics:

      1. Teach your kids how to introduce someone properly.
      2. Teach the art of small talk.
      3. Teach good manners.
