Communion is the public declaration of a believer’s communion with Christ through the indwelling Holy Spirit and a believer’s communion with the body of Christ, the church.

1. Communion leads us to reflect on the sacrifice of Christ which leads us to repentance.

2. Communion provides real spiritual nourishment that comes from the presence of Christ.

3. Communion reminds us of and calls us to uphold our unity as the body of Christ.

4. Communion anticipated the marriage supper in the Kingdom of God.
