In this episode Alexa introduces us to the Sister who started it all for her; Sister Mary St. Martin, OP - a Sinsinawa Dominican who dedicated her life to teaching and being a principal. She also started after school programs and volunteers weekly with local shelters. She was part of the spring 2014 oral histories, and was the sister Alexa spent time with and whose oral history she eventually collected.
