Community DC Host Dennis Glasgow visits with Founder and President for The Jake Cassell Fund, Steve Cassell to talk about losing his autistic son Jake several years ago, and out of unbelievable tragedy, he and his wife started 'The Jake Cassell Fund' in his sons name that is dedicated to supporting special needs children, young adults, and their families in underserved communities. Their mission is to channel donor dollars to established and reputable organizations effectively serving the special needs community, particularly in areas of extreme need. They focus on partnering with a select number of organizations to strategically deliver grant funding that expands and enhances their services.
