This morning, Greg and Dan sat down with Roger Larson from the North Central Behavioral Health Systems in Canton, Illinois.
Mr. Larson is a Behavioral Health therapist as well as the Community Outreach Educator for North Central and was gracious enough to come in to inform us on issues with substance abuse in rural areas. Mr. Larson is hoping to give new language to the Fulton County area in order to give people the tools they need in order to truly talk and communicate about any of their issues, as well as addressing the correlation between mental health and substance abuse.
When asked, Mr. Larson stated that he wants his message to be: “1. I believe in you, 2. It’s healable, it’s not terminal.” In order to get in contact with the Canton office call: (309) 647-1881.
