Listen Later

Welcome to Community Resources: Minnesota! Today is April 15th, 2022, and it snowed yesterday, and … I think we’ve all collectively decided to just talking about how long this winter last lasted and just move on. So that’s what we’re going to do.

My name is Jerome Evans, I host the TV Show Bottomless Coffee with Jerome and another podcast called Bottomless Coffee Podcast. You can stream episodes at BottomlessCoffeeShow.com.

Today on Community Resources Minnesota - we’re sharing information about the community resources that we have at our disposal.

Today that information is coming from The Minnesota Department of Health and the CDC.

For this episode we’re going to start with Announcements and  go through upcoming COVID Vaccine Events.

As always, to get all the good details - you do need to go to BottomlessCoffeeShow.com/Community.

Announcements

COVI-19 vaccine and pregnancy

Experts are looking closely at data on COVID-19 vaccination during pregnancy. Data continue to show the vaccines are safe and effective for pregnant people. Talk to a trusted health care provider if you have questions about getting vaccinated during pregnancy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9n80NFHu2F0&feature=emb_logo

CDC Quarantine & Isolation Calculator

CDC’s COVID-19 Quarantine and Isolation Calculator takes the stress out of figuring when, and for how long, people with COVID-19 and close contacts need to stay home, get tested, and wear a well-fitting mask. It provides important information about what precautions people with COVID-19 and their close contacts can take to protect loved ones and slow the spread of COVID-19 in their communities. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/quarantine-isolation.html #StaySafeMN

Project HEALINGS has developed 30 PSA videos regarding the COVID-19 vaccine engagements and the different perspectives of each unique ethnic group leader.  Here is a link to the videos. https://projecthealings.info/psa-videos/
