Colin Jorgensen - Chief Executive Officer - Community Station
Steve Hall - Executive Director With Bruce Welsh
Across Perth and WA, the quiet strain on community organisations and volunteer interest groups.
Many of these groups are driven by people with real passion and commitment, but they’re operating in an environment of decreasing funding, increasing expectations and limited support. We’re seeing common challenges around governance, financial management, volunteer retention and basic marketing, all of which put long-term sustainability at risk.
Through our work with councils, sporting clubs, not-for-profits and volunteer-led groups, we’re seeing organisations held together by one or two exhausted people. When they step away, the organisation often struggles, and the impact flows straight through to families and local communities.
