In Canada, September 30 marks National Day
for Truth and Reconciliation. It’s a time to honour the missing children and survivors of residential schools as well as their families and communities. Commemorating this tragic period in our history is an essential step in the
reconciliation process with First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.
