Dr. Francis Clooney is the Parkman Professor of Divinity and Professor of comparative theology at Harvard Divinity School. He holds a PhD from the University of Chicago and was the director of the study of world religions from 2010-2017.
He's also a Catholic priest, and has been a member of the Jesuits for over 55 years.
We're also joined this week with a classmate of mine, Liam Kenney.
Our conversation follows Professor Clooney's recent book Hindu and Catholic, Priest and Scholar, a Love Story and includes a framework for comparative theology, thinking about other religious traditions compared to one's own.
