Getting a handle on just how clean or dirty the “long tailpipe” is has been the subject of many reports. A new study by researchers at Yale University shows that, almost no matter how you slice it, electric vehicles are cleaner than internal combustion engine vehicles, when you measure all of the materials and energy required to build and drive them.
