This week I had the pleasure of chatting with my dear friend, Lauren Shockey, all about the big ole comparison trap that homeschooling can be.
All of us struggle with comparing our homeschools to other homeschools to some degree.
There’s just something about homeschooling that makes it so easy and tempting to slip into envy over what other women are accomplishing in their homes.
It seems like they’re getting it all done, nailing life and looking good while they do it! What’s up with that?!
Lauren shares her theories about why falling into the comparison trap is so common and tempting. I love her because she’s completely open and transparent about her struggles with envy, especially since beginning to homeschool and how God has been working on her heart to help her avoid the trap these days.
