While it is true that CompassCare and other pro-life organizations and people are being denied equal justice under the law and freedom of speech, we should not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among us. Jesus did say we would be persecuted and delivered up to the courts and governments. This battle is not about us. This is about the ability of pro-life Christians to continue being publicly Christian, loving one’s neighbor by protecting the weakest and most vulnerable of society.

This is the most important cultural moment in 150 years and abortion is the flashpoint.

Abortion is the flashpoint because it gets at the heart of the national divide about what is means to be human. We believe that all people are made in the image of God and deserving of blessing and protection, from the womb to the tomb, without partiality. This belief is the only basis for human dignity, equality, and liberty.
