The book recounts stories of people of all agesâmuch in their own wordsâ who have followed the âpath with heart.â Most are just regular folks, while others are well-known figures, such as Jimmy Carter, Sandra Day OâConnor, Pete Seeger, and Carlos Santayana.

Getting a job out of college was a struggle, let alone getting a job that helped me to fulfill my purpose. Had I recognized the potential of a cause-focused career back then, I would never have floated around professionally as I did. I would have just gotten to work.
