In this study we look at the doctrine of "Soul Competency" or the requirement that every person will one day stand before God and give and account for their lives and how that same doctrine or truth is lived out in the everyday Christian life. We discuss taking responsibility for our own actions and the role that plays in "repentance" and how our current culture is turning its back on this principle. We will also discuss "Soul Liberty/freedom" or the responsibilities that come from having the freedom to read and interpret scripture on our own under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Romans 14:1-13, 2nd Corinthians 5:10.
