Computer architecture refers to the design and structure of computer systems, including the way components interact with one another to execute tasks efficiently. It encompasses the organization of the hardware and how it processes and manages data. Modern computers use a variety of architectures, but the most common is the von Neumann architecture, named after the mathematician and computer scientist John von Neumann.
