In this episode of Hither Came Conan, Steeven takes you on a journey into the animated world of Conan the Adventurer with its 1992 debut episode, The Night of Fiery Tears.
When fiery meteors rain down on Cimmeria, young Conan and his family forge powerful weapons from a mysterious Star Metal. But their newfound fortune catches the eye of Wrath-Amon, a sinister servant of the snake god Set. With his family turned to stone by dark sorcery, Conan takes up a glowing Star Metal sword and swears by Crom to undo the spell and take vengeance on the snake cult.
Armed with his blade and joined by an unlikely ally—a mischievous phoenix named Needle—Conan embarks on an epic quest to defeat Wrath-Amon, shatter his evil plans, and drive the serpent men back to their dimension. This thrilling animated adventure blends mysticism, betrayal, and heart-pounding action, all while giving a nod to the rich lore of Robert E. Howard’s original Conan tales.
