Summary:

In looking at the last eight years, one wonders whether the Obama presidency was good for America. But, before we try to answer that question, we need to discuss what is the nature of that which is “good.” Let’s start by saying that good is that which brings us up, away from misery and that aesthetics is the pinnacle of that which evolution has produced in both the animate and inanimate world.
