The closure of two Family Dollar stores in the city of Buffalo has eliminated two essential resources for access to affordable household necessities like food, cleaning products and more. Council member Mitch Nowakowski is hoping the companies don't see their stores simply as numbers on a clipboard, but as lifelines for their communities.
